Pre-Orientation Year

The Pre-Orientation Year is a two year preparation for the Orientation Year where a seminarian becomes a temporal member of the Lorenzo Ruiz Mission Society. Those who undergo the Pre-Orientation Year are those professionals who decided to enter the seminary. While taking the required units of Philosophy, they may simultaneously be oriented to the life of the Society. The strong sense of mission as well as the enthusiasm to join the Society are those considered ready to undergo the Orientation Year. It is during these years that they complete the Philosophy subjects required for Theology. The Pre-Orientation Year is applied to those who are in Philosophy finishing their last stage of college education with a firm resolve to join the mission society as well as committed to the mission of the Church.
